How to find Cheap Liverpool FC Tickets

Let's be honest: getting tickets to Anfield is a nightmare. Liverpool FC has one of the most passionate fanbases in world football, and with a stadium that holds just over 60,000 fans, demand far outstrips supply for virtually every home game.

So how do you actually get your hands on tickets without paying a fortune or falling for a scam? We've broken it down into the approaches that actually work.

The official route: great prices, brutal odds

Liverpool offers several ways to buy tickets directly from the club. The prices are fair (£30–£61 for most games), but competition is fierce. Here's how each option works.

1. Official club sales (All Red Memberships)

Liverpool's official membership scheme is your gateway to face-value tickets. There are three tiers:

• All Red (£42.99/year) - Priority access to over 13,000 Premier League tickets per home game, eligibility for the Auto Cup Ticket Scheme, 10% retail discount, and access to All Red Video streaming.
• All Red Light (£26.99/year) - Access to ticket ballots for cup and Premier League games without the extras.
• All Red Junior (£20.99/year) - For supporters aged 0–16, with the same ticketing benefits.

The club releases tickets in two main waves: July for the first half of the season, November for the second. Sales open to Full members first, then Light members get a crack at whatever's left. Realistically? These sell out in minutes. You'll need to be logged in, ready to go, and lucky.

2.Liverpool Ticket Exchange

Season ticket holders who can't make a game can return their tickets through Liverpool's official Ticket Exchange. These go back on sale at face value, and All Red members can buy them on a first-come, first-served basis.

The window usually opens a few days before each match. Set a reminder, check obsessively, and be ready to act fast, tickets get snapped up quickly.

3.Local General Sale

If you live within the L postcode area (Liverpool and surroundings), you can enter a ballot for Local General Sale tickets. This typically opens around ten days before a fixture, and it's strictly one ticket per qualifying supporter.

It's a long shot, but if you're local and flexible on which games you attend, worth entering.

4.Hospitality packages

This is the only official route that guarantees you a seat. Liverpool offers various hospitality experiences that don't require membership:
