Emirates Stadium holds over 60,000 fans and is one of the Premier League's most modern venues. Located in Holloway, North London, the stadium is easily accessible via Arsenal or Holloway Road tube stations. Match tickets are in high demand, especially for Premier League clashes and European games.
The Emirates area is extremely crowded on matchdays – arrive at least an hour early. Grab a pre-match bite at The Tollington or Piebury Corner, which is famous for its football-themed pies and also beloved by Gooners (Arsenal Fans)!
The crowd singing "Good Old Arsenal" before kick-off sets the tone – a tradition dating back to the 1971 Double winners. Arsenal moved to Emirates Stadium in 2006 after 93 years at the legendary Highbury. The club, founded in 1886, is one of England's most successful with 13 league titles.
The Clock End and North Bank loyal supporters drive the atmosphere, especially during big matches. The modern facilities offer excellent sightlines from every seat, while the stadium's design keeps the crowd noise intense.
Getting tickets to the Emirates is brutal. Arsenal's resurgence under Mikel Arteta has sent demand through the roof, and with over 75% of the stadium's 60,704 seats reserved for season ticket holders, match-by-match tickets are incredibly scarce.
So how do you actually get your hands on tickets without paying a fortune or falling for a scam? We've broken it down into the approaches that actually work.
Arsenal operates one of the most structured ticketing systems in English football. Face-value tickets range from around £37 to £141 depending on the match category and seat location. The catch? You'll need a membership, patience, and a fair bit of luck.
Arsenal's Red Membership (£36/year) is your gateway to face-value tickets. Unlike most clubs where you simply buy tickets when they go on sale, Arsenal operates a ballot system for all Premier League, FA Cup, and European matches.
Here's how it works: ballots open 4-6 weeks before each fixture and run for 72 hours. You register your interest, and if successful, you're automatically charged and allocated a seat. There's no choosing your exact spot — you enter a price range and hope for the best.
The odds? Not great. With hundreds of thousands of Red Members competing for a limited allocation, success rates for big matches can be painfully low.
Silver Membership (£56/year) offers better ballot odds than Red, but here's the problem: it's not openly available. There's a waiting list of over 12,000 people, and the wait can stretch beyond a decade. If you're just starting out, this isn't a realistic option.
Season ticket holders and members who can't attend sold-out matches can resell their seats at face value through Arsenal's official Ticket Exchange. Access is staggered — members who were unsuccessful in the ballot get first access, then it opens wider closer to matchday.
The Exchange closes 3 hours before kick-off. It's your best shot at face-value tickets after the ballot, but it requires LOTS of persistence and quick reflexes.
This is the only official route that guarantees you a seat — and you don't need a membership! Arsenal offers various hospitality experiences:
You're paying a significant premium, but you get guaranteed entry, food and drinks included, and a memorable matchday experience. For overseas fans or those making a special trip, hospitality removes the uncertainty.
Verdict on official channels: The ballot system means even members have no guarantee of tickets. Great if you're willing to try your luck across multiple matches, but unreliable if you need guaranteed tickets for a specific fixture.
Here's the reality: most supporters who want guaranteed tickets for a specific match end up buying through resale platforms. Sites like StubHub, Viagogo, LiveFootballTickets, and others offer tickets to virtually every Arsenal home game.
The catch? Prices vary wildly between platforms, sometimes by £50 or more for the same seat. That's exactly why we built TicketSeal. We compare prices across all the major resale platforms so you can see your options side by side and find the best deal available.
Arsenal operates a tiered pricing system based on the opposition:
The Clock End and North Bank lower tiers tend to be cheaper, while the East and West Stand halfway line commands the highest prices.
| Season | Cheapest | Most Expensive |
|---|---|---|
| 2022/2023 | £927 | £1,839 |
| 2023/2024 | £973 | £1,839 |
| 2024/2025 | £1,073 | £2,030 |
| 2025/2026 | £1,106 | £2,092 |
Notes:
Stick to established platforms with buyer protection. Facebook Marketplace, Twitter sellers, and strangers outside the ground are risky. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.

The spiritual home of Arsenal's most passionate supporters. This three-tier stand behind the northern goal is where the atmosphere comes alive, with fans often standing throughout matches.
The lower tier (blocks 4-13) is the loudest section of the Emirates — expect to stand for most of the match. The atmosphere here is the closest you'll get to the old Highbury days. Upper tier seats offer better views but a more relaxed experience. Tickets in this stand are among the most sought-after.
For atmosphere, aim for lower tier blocks 5-12. If you prefer to sit and watch, the upper tier still offers great views with the North Bank energy below you. Avoid the corners if sightlines matter to you.
Named after the iconic clock that sat atop the South Stand at Highbury (now relocated to the Emirates). This three-tier stand houses both home supporters and the away allocation.
The Ashburton Army — Arsenal's organised supporters' group — is based here, bringing drums and non-stop singing. The family enclosure is located in blocks 26-30 (lower) and block 25 (upper).
For atmosphere, sit in the lower tier near blocks 23-25 to be close to the Ashburton Army but away from the away section. If you're bringing kids, the family enclosure blocks offer a more relaxed environment. Great for watching Arsenal attack in the second half.
