
PSV start Dutch Eredivisie season against Fortuna, Ajax vs PSV scheduled for matchday 5.
Defending champions PSV will begin the 2026/27 Eredivisie season with a home match against Fortuna Sittard. This was confirmed on Tuesday during the presentation of the opening-round fixtures.
The new campaign kicks off on Friday evening, 7 August, with promoted side Cambuur taking on Excelsior. PSV will play one day later against Fortuna.
The full fixture list will be announced on June 10th, but several key matches are already known.
Ajax vs PSV is scheduled for Saturday, 5 September, in the fifth round of fixtures. The first "Klassieker" (Feyenoord vs Ajax) of the season will take place on Sunday, 29 November, when Feyenoord host Ajax at De Kuip.
Feyenoord, who finished second in the 2025/26 season and secured Champions League football, will open their campaign on Sunday, 9 August, at 12:15 with a Rotterdam derby away to Sparta. NEC, who will compete in the Champions League qualifying rounds, start on Saturday, 8 August, at 16:30 against Telstar.
Ajax begin their season on Sunday at 14:30 away to PEC Zwolle, while FC Twente travel to Heerenveen for their opening match later that day at 16:45.
